Live Counter Charges for Wedding in Lucknow
Live counters are priced per counter, not per plate, which makes them easy to add to any menu but harder to compare. The price covers the cook, equipment, ingredients and service for a set guest range and service window. The listings show indicative starting prices for each counter; the written quote from Hari Event sets out the guest range, hours, items and anything extra, such as a second cook for a larger crowd.

Cost factorsWhat decides the price of a live counter
Kebabs and tandoor items use meat and a skilled cook, so they sit at the top. A pasta and pizza counter needs cheese, sauces and an oven. Chaat and jalebi counters use simpler ingredients but still need an experienced hand to keep quality steady all evening.
A counter priced for a certain range of guests needs more ingredients and possibly more hands for a bigger crowd. Longer service hours, for example a counter that opens with the baraat and stays until late, also add to the cost.
A tandoor, grill or oven is heavier to transport and set up than a tawa. Venues that need extra safety arrangements, a separate power line or a long carry from the parking area all add to the setup work and the final figure.
Booking several counters together, or adding them to a full wedding catering order, lets one team share transport, setup and supervision, which can make the arrangement more efficient than single counters booked separately. Ask Hari Event for a combined quote.
Save moneyWays to keep the cost down
- Choose one or two counters your crowd loves rather than many that compete for the same guests.
- Open the sweet counter only after dinner so it serves fewer hours.
- Add counters to your main catering order so transport and setup are shared.

FAQLive Counter Charges for Wedding — questions
Is the counter charge in addition to the per-plate menu?
Usually, yes. Live counters are quoted per counter on top of the main menu, unless a package such as the royal wedding menu already includes some counters. The written quote shows each line separately.
What if a counter runs out before the event ends?
Quantities are planned for the guest range on the quote. If you expect more guests, tell us beforehand so extra preparation is agreed and priced in writing.
Is there an extra charge for staying late?
If a counter is needed beyond the agreed hours, there may be an extra charge. Agree the service window in the quote, especially when the pheras mahurat falls late at night.
Tell us the date and the guest count — we call back with ideas and a written quote. Nothing is charged online for an event service.
